3 Common Eyeshadow Mistakes

3 Common Eyeshadow Mistakes
In order to do things well, we need practice. Applying eyeshadow correctly is no different. Most of us learn by trial and error, yet some of us still face problems, simply because of mistakes we’ve been making over and over through the years. If you’ve gone through a dozen brand name shadows without getting a nice look that lasts, it might be one of these mistakes that is causing your problems.
1.The Inner Eye: Sometimes you might end up with shadow that gets sprinkled onto the nose, and you have a hard time rubbing it off. Often you find that the inner eye along the side of your nose is a sensitive area for break outs and blemishes. That’s because it is a sensitive area. Avoid getting your makeup to close to the inner eye, but if you must shadow there, use a clean cotton swab, rather than the shadow brush. The slightest bit of dirt or contamination in this area can lead to a breakout.
2.Foundation: Never, ever apply liquid foundation to the eyelid. If you feel you must have a base coat, use a loose powder foundation or a neutral coloured eyeshadow. Even if you plan on going without eyeshadow, liquid foundation on your lids is trouble. Liquid makeup will adhere to lines and creases in the folds of your eyes, leaving them looking tired and old. If you apply eyeshadow afterwards, the creases will darken and cake up after an hour or two. In short, your eyeshadow won’t set properly.
3.Glitter: Keep the glitter, sparkle and shimmer off your lash lines. The lash line is a great place to apply a nice liner to lengthen the look of your lashes, but keep the colours solid. Adding sparkle or glitter not only leads to infection, but it also doesn’t set properly. As you naturally blink, the particles will flick away into your eye, onto the lid or onto the skin beneath the eye. Your best bet, apply a sparkling shadow just below or above the lash line, sweeping it in an upward motion away from your interfering lashes.
If you’ve been making these errors, don’t feel bad, you’re not alone. However, if you start correcting these common mistakes right away, you’ll be impressed at how much better your eye make up looks, not just when you put it on, but hours later.

3 Common Goldfish Diseases

3 Common Goldfish Diseases
There are only a few goldfish diseases that owners have to be aware of, but an infected fish can quickly go from bad to worse. If a person or other land animal has a problem moving, we can lie down and let our body heal itself: A fish of any kind has to constantly move around to get oxygen into their gills — In other words, if they stop moving they die and time is of the essence if you want a sick fish to stay alive.

Look below for goldfish diseases with their typical causes and cures:

Ichtyopthirius (Ich)

Cause: This is a freshwater fish disease that is caused by flesh-eating parasites that will consume the fish until it dies (normally due to infection from open wounds).

Cure: You’ll need to treat the tank with Ich medicine and quarantine the most badly affected fish. The process can take up to three days to complete and Ich is the most deadly of all goldfish diseases, while being the hardest to cure as well.

Tail Rot

Cause: There are many causes and tail rot is somewhat hard to diagnose. It may be caused by bacterial or parasitic infection, poor water quality, oxygen starvation, or as a result of overcrowding in the tank. In many cases fish will bite each other and their fins will become infected.

Cure: Antibiotics, sodium, or other treatments for tail/fin rot should be used. Medication will only stave off the problem temporarily though, since you have to find the source of the initial problem I.e., overcrowding, stress, low oxygen levels, etc.

Dropsy

Cause: This is one of the most deadly goldfish diseases and while there is medications for it, often times the fish will normally die once symptoms are visible. This problem is also cause by a bacterial or parasitic infection, but starts from the inside of the fish and causes their belly to severely bloat outward.

Cure: You can buy medications to try and cure dropsy, but whatever you do, separate them from the rest of your fish if you have any. The best cure is to keep your aquarium clean and bacteria free.

3 Common Car Problems

However much you have bought your car, it won’t last forever. It might serve you a little longer than the cheaper cars in the market, but it certainly won’t stick with you until time memorial. Surely, you’ll encounter problems with it along the way too. Some can be considered minor concerns. Expect others to be head splitting in nature. Well those are all part of it. You just have to accept that. And do what needs to be done to solve it.

Cars need to be serviced on a regular basis to be sure that they’re safe and on good working condition at all times. The schedule is determined by your car manufacturer, especially if you bought your car brand new. As a wise consumer, you should strictly adhere to these schedules – unless you want problems with your car later on.

The Following are the 3 common car problems:

Air Conditioner Won’t Cool

You would turn on your car’s air conditioning system the whole time you are driving if you are living in a warm country. It would be a big headache if you get into your car and find out that your air conditioning system is not working. The three common causes of this problem is either you’re A/C power source is not working properly, your car does not have enough refrigerant or your car’s compressor is having a problem.

Engine won’t crank and start

Here are some of the major causes of a specific engine problem.

Won’t Crank and Won’t Start

— Low battery power is a major cause why your engine won’t crank and start. So you have to check the voltage, recharge it if the power is low, or jump start with another vehicle.

— Loose or Corroded battery cables might also be a reason why your engine won’t start properly.

— Bad starter relay wiring or ground connection. Check the wiring connection, clean and tighten it if needed.

— Ineffective ignition switch

— Engine hydrolock can be caused by coolant leakage This is because coolage leakage might be caused by a leaky head gasket.

Rough or Bouncy Ride

If you formerly ride your car in a very smooth manner and suddenly it just turned so bumpy and rough, then you surely are having a problem with your car. Fixing this problem is quite easy. All you have to do is to have a professional mechanic look over your car’s shock absorbers and struts. At the very first sign of rough ride, it would be better to immediately have your car looked by professionals as the problem can easily and quickly be fixed and returned back to its normal ride. But there are also cases wherein you will need to buy new shocks and/or struts to get the job done.

An early identification of a problem is very important not only for your car’s performance but most importantly for your safety and your pocket. Preventing accidents and serious car problems can be avoided when you regularly check your car.

Common Objections Part 3

Common Objections Part 3

How many of you have come across the same objections over and over again? I’m sure many of you with network and small businesses have. This article is for those of you that need a little assistance in what to tell your customer when they do come up with an objections. Sometimes even tackling the objection before your client asks can help too, but be careful you aren’t «planting» something in their head that they weren’t even thinking about in the first place! Whatever you do, make sure you acknowledge your customer by saying that you understand their concern, or qualify the question further by having them tell you more . . . Tell me more about that, or what do you mean by that is a perfect way to get them to expand. Honestly, objections really just tell you that the client needs more information, so don’t let the questions scare you, it’s a good thing . . . It means they are interested!

Some of my answers may be more geared around high-ticket networking companies and/or travel since that is what I’m familiar with most with my affiliate business. I assist many small business owners and other network marketers reach heights in their business that they never thought possible. If you are able to utilize just one tip and it assists in your success to True Wealth, then we’ve done our job!

Obj: How much money have you made

A: Well, I’m fairly new however my business mentor (which could be your sponsor, teammate, the owner of the company or one of your business coaches) made X amount of dollars within X amount of time. Many of my business associates are 6 and 7 figure income earners, you’ll get to meet them at our LIVE webinar (or Team Meeting, whatever your company has.) You can also say, «Well, I’m new but I expect to make $ X this month (BE HONEST!) and my Trainer makes X dollar amount.

Cha-Ching Note: People respect your honesty! Use other people’s stories and testimonies within your company. This is tough when you are first starting out because you THINK you don’t want anyone to know that you are a «newbie». I have to say that was one of my biggest mistakes as a network marketer when I first started. USE your trainers as much as possible, that is what they are there for, to help while you are learning. I’m a little stubborn so that was hard for me at first. I can give you some ideas to make your first days (and veteran days!) go a heck of a lot smoother! I wish I would have had some of these things in place way back when!

Obj: This sounds too good to be true.

A: Well, Mr. Prospect, I completely understand. I felt the same way when I started looking into my new business, however once I really started checking out all of the information and did my due diligence by attending the business review and listening to other testimonies and reading the business report and other PR write ups on individuals within and the founders of the company, then I knew it was the right fit for me and this truly was an amazing opportunity that I couldn’t let go by. But, no one can tell you this, you have to check it out and decide for yourself.
Now with my networking company I would also say we earn incredible commissions ranging from $ 750 to $ 7500 per transaction and the reason we are able to do this is because our business membership is higher end therefore they are able to work in more commissions to give back to those that are fueling the company. It’s a win-win for everyone!

Obj: This sounds wonderful, but I know my spouse will be skeptical.

A: I completely understand. I wouldn’t want you going into a major business decision without him/her feeling comfortable as well, however I want to make sure this is something that you truly are interested in first, are you? (They already told you they were!!!) Great! Send your spouse through the same exact process that I just took you through (checking out your company, testimonies, etc) and then if he still has questions, I’d be happy to assist in answering any questions that he has.

Some people are hard core with this question and they say something similar to, «Do you run everything by your spouse?» I would never in a million years say this to someone, I’d be totally offended because I do have the type of relationship that when it comes to something major we discuss it together and make a decision on if it’s mutually beneficial. Now I’m pretty stubborn, so I usually get my way anyhow, which honestly if someone wants something bad enough they will too. You just need to make sure you have the best product, the best training, you’ve found out what their needs are and you’ve shown them that you are here to fulfill those needs.

Cha-Ching Note: Remember you will lose people to spouses and the chitter-chatter that surrounds us everyday. I call these people the dream stealers — man they bug me! There are so many times I see people back down from what they truly want because they listen to chitter-chatter from other people who know nothing of what they are blabbering. In this case you want to have as many referrals and soon-to-be customers coming as possible. 3 Common Excel Formulas

3 Common Excel Formulas

If you have worked for at least a few hours with Excel at work or at home, by now you are probably comfortable copy/pasting data, entering simple formulas, and making basic formatting changes like adding bold or italics to text.

The great thing about Excel — and this goes for almost any user at any level of expertise — is that there is so much to know and learn that would be useful in making your life easier when it comes to crunching data. Learning these tricks and tips can help you to not only lighten your workload, but to help you find additional insights into the data-related projects you are working on.

One of the places I suggest that you start advancing your knowledge of Excel is to delve further into the world of formulas and functions. Functions are basically «ready-made» formulas that do lots of neat and very useful things.

Similarly, formulas entail combinations of mathematical operators, numbers, cell addresses, and sometimes functions themselves. Formulas are needed when there is no specific existing function for what you need to do, or for when you need to combine multiple functions together.

Here are 3 common Excel formulas that you should definitely learn:

1. Remove unwanted spaces at the beginning or ending of a string of text:

Okay, let’s start with a quick and easy one. If you are dealing with large amounts of text-based data (e.g., addresses, names, etc.) and — especially if it was collected from various sources or hastily entered via manual data entry — it is likely that there are lots of superfluous spaces before and/or after many of the words or phrases. These spaces may be invisible to the naked eye, but they can represent an annoying problem if you want to, for example, sort the data properly, use it in graphs, or combine it.

The solution? Use the TRIM() function. For example:

=TRIM(A3) (note: this would remove any unneeded spaces before or after the text in cell A3).

Important: this function successfully removes the extra spaces at the beginning and end of a string of text, but it does not touch the spaces between bits of text. So, for example, the name «John Smith» will NOT become «JohnSmith» when using TRIM(). If you want to remove those spaces, used Excel’s Replace feature (replace the space with nothing).

2. Calculate the amount of time between two dates:

If you have been using Excel for a while, you may have been faced with the need to calculate the time difference (in days, weeks, months, or years) between two different dates. The formula is pretty straightforward. The formulas for days, months and years are almost identical, and are as follows:

=DATEDIF(A1,B1,»d»)  (this calculates the number of days between the two dates in cells A1 and B1)

=DATEDIF(A1,B1,»m»)  (this one calculates the number of months)

=DATEDIF(A1,B1,»y»)  (meanwhile, this calculates the number of years)

Finally, the formula for calculating the number of weeks between two dates looks like this:

=INT((B1-A1)/7)  (where the dates are entered in cells B1 and A1)

3. Find the smallest or largest number in a range:

Finally, you may have situations arise whereby you are faced with a large number of cells grouped together (called a range of cells) and you want to know which is the largest and which is the smallest number among them. One solution to this would be to just sort a column and figure it out that way. But, a simple sort will not do the trick if you have a range that spans multiple columns. The solution? Use MIN and MAX functions. Here are two examples:

=MIN(A1:D3)  (note: this finds the smallest number among the numbers in cells A1 through D3)

=MAX(A1:D3)  (note: this finds the largest number among the numbers in cells A1 through D3)

Excel is capable of processing a very large number of functions and formulas which, if you choose to take a bit of time to master, will speed up your work tremendously. And, doing so will likely reduce the chances for making errors when compared to trying your own, homemade workaround methods.
